- A $199 retainer reserves your date and goes toward your collection, so it isn't an extra fee.

Meet the photographer.
Heather Cox opened Haus of Her in 2019, and since then she's photographed over 1,000 women. Moms, nurses, teachers, oilfield workers, brides, birthday girls. Every shape, every size, every age.
She built Haus of Her to be a place where you can show up exactly as you are. Never been in front of a camera? Don't know your angles? That's her job. She'll guide you through every pose, so all you have to do is enjoy it.
Women from 24 states have traveled to her Midland studio, and she'd love for you to be next.
Good things to know.
Is this a free photoshoot?
No. Your $695 session fee is waived and your Spicy Book Set ($450 value) is free, but a collection purchase is required. Collections start at $2,500 and include your products and digital images. 0% interest payment plans with no credit check are available.
Do I have to bring my own book?
Totally up to you. Bring your favorite (the more dog-eared the better), or choose something spicy from our studio library.
I've never done boudoir and have no idea how to pose.
That's most of our clients! We guide you through every pose, expression and hand placement for your entire session. You don't need any experience at all.
I'm not a size 2. Is this for me?
Absolutely. We photograph women of all shapes, sizes, ages and backgrounds, and our client closet has hundreds of pieces to choose from. Boudoir is for every body.
When do sessions take place?
Spicy Chapter Experience sessions are held February through July 2027 at our private studio in Midland, TX. We'll go over available dates on your call.
What happens after I apply?
If you're selected, we'll reach out to set up a quick 15–20 minute phone call with our team. If it feels like a fit, you can reserve your date during the call with the $199 retainer, which goes toward your collection.
